Last updated: January 1, 2020

At Simplista we value your privacy and we do everything we can to protect it. Our Privacy Policy covers the collection, use and disclosure of personal information that may be collected when you use Simplista, such as when you use our services or communicate with the Help and Support team.

Please read this page carefully to learn more about what information we collect, what we do with that information, and how we may use your personal information.

The short version

In a few words, we collect your data only with your consent; we only collect the minimum amount of personal information that is necessary to fulfil the purpose of your interaction with us; we don't sell it to third parties; and we only use it as our Privacy Policy describes. For more details, you should read the following paragraphs.

1. Information we collect and how we use it

We collect data about cookies through Google Analytics.

These cookies help improve the content provided and the way both our website and platform work. For more information, please refer to Google's RGPD policy at this link: https://cloud.google.com/security/gdpr.

We also collect information for internal business purposes in several situations, including: personal information such as name and e-mail address; geographic information such as where you use your devices to improve our understanding of our customer needs; tracking information about your visit, including IP address, cookies and the pages you request to analyze trends and administer the site; aggregate information from multiple users without personally identifying individuals.

We do this so that we can improve our knowledge of our users' needs and also to be able to provide the services best suited to their experience.

2. Use of cookies

Our apps use cookies for analysis, user authentication, keeping track of your preferences, keeping track of our audience size and traffic patterns, and in a few other cases.

Depending on which browser you use, you can configure it to accept cookies, reject cookies or notify you when a cookie is being used. However, if you configure your browser to reject cookies, you may not be able toto use our apps, that require you to login, or take full advantage of our features.

3. Contact form on our website

Contact requests are redirected to the internal mailbox geral@iconica.pt. This mailbox is exclusively accessible by our management team. We read and answer the emails. The information we collect is never shared externally.

4. Data ownership

The data you entered in Simplista is yours and only yours. By putting your information into Simplista, you do not grant us any special rights with regard to that information.

5. Data security

At Simplista, our databases are secured by several processes and we do our best to protect your data. Your password is encrypted, and all data transmission is protected by SSL encryption. Having said that, we can't guarantee 100% security.

Here's what we do to make sure your information is secure:

• Your password is protected by encryption and only you have access to it;

• Your personal information and data stored in our systems is protected by various physical, electronic and procedural safeguards. Our employees do not monitor or view your personal information or content stored in our service, but it may be viewed if we learn that our terms described here may have been violated and confirmation is required, or we otherwise determine that we have an obligation to review it;

• Our service uses standard SSL encryption to protect data transmissions. SSL encryption is a technology used by thousands of online services such as banks, email providers and remote backup services. However, this is not a guarantee that such data transmissions cannot be accessed, altered or deleted due to firewall or other security software failures.

If we learn of a security system breach we may attempt to notify you and provide information on protective steps, if available, through the e-mail address that you supplied during registration or posting a notice on our website or on our social networking accounts.

6. How to access and control your information

If you want to know more about how your personal data is used at Simplista or have any question related to GDPR, feel free to ask directly to this address: geral@iconica.pt. Our team will contact you as soon as possible. A nossa equipa entrará em contacto consigo e responderá ao seu pedido para aceder, modificar ou apagar os seus dados pessoais.

7. Changes and updates

Any update regarding the Privacy Policy will be directly posted on this page.

We may revise and update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so we advise you to periodically review it to keep abreast of our plans and procedures to protect the personal information that we collect. If a revision meaningfully reduces your rights, we will notify you (by, for example, sending a message to the email address associated with your account and/or posting on our social networking accounts or on this page).

By continuing to use or access our apps after the revisions come into effect, you consent to this Privacy Policy and any updates.
